Jay’s Moving Company was founded by Jay
Harper (1927-2008) in 1951. For 24 years Jay and his wife Virginia
served hundreds of clients out of the kitchen of their home. The
business flourished and in 1973 Jay’s moved to its own building
in Fountain Square (Indianapolis, IN). Jay’s Moving Company
has continued to serve the Indianapolis community with integrity and
honest hard work. Jay retired in March of 2008 and 10 months
later He departed this earth to be with his beloved Heavenly Father.
All who knew him are proud to say “I knew Jay Harper”.
His legacy lives on through his family and those that knew him.
